POSITION SUMMARY:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for elevating the presence and reputation of ARS in the market and against the competition as well as increase brand awareness and customer engagement via social media platforms. Must be a company-wide champion for social media and engage involvement and interest from field and corporate personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage social media function. Manages content posting and monitors and measures the effectiveness across all platforms. These include but are not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Maintain a communications and promotional calendar.
  • Ensure that content and social “voice” of American Residential Services is consistent and compliant with brand standards.
  • Monitor social media trends and use information to positively impact customer experience. Report findings and actions to leaders.
  • Manage a social media budget and propose/execute promotions.
  • Work directly with graphic designers and copywriters and oversee the creation of ads, infographics, blog articles, etc.
  • Collaborates and assists in marketing and public relations initiatives related to special events, community relations, marketing initiatives, etc.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, including audience growth and engagement.
  • Identify ways to maximize and leverage social content in all forms of marketing.
  • Build relationships with corporate and field personnel to acquire stories and content.
  • Assist in overseeing the production of informative video content.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Two (2) years of direct experience in social media platforms.
  • Two (2) years of using a social media management technology.
  • Strong knowledge of social media marketing on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Requires a good balance of creativity and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude with associates, business vendors and management.
  • Dynamic self-starter who has a real passion for social media.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and change direction quickly and easily while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Consistent follow-through and sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • A copywriting or graphic design background is bonus.
