SUMMARY:
Create, monitor, evaluate and implement strategy to maintain and improve the Company’s sales volume. This position is responsible for sales volume, expense control, market share and achievement of sales goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 
♦ Develops sales and marketing plans by preparing objectives and strategies.
♦ Assures the successful launch of new segments and new channels by assuming responsibility for planning, promoting and introduction. 
♦ Assists in the preparation of Service Center annual budgets to support the sales and marketing functions related to residential plumbing, HVAC and other lines of business. 
♦ Monitors and tracks sales statistics and performance. Develops and implements sales process improvement initiatives.
♦ Assists management planning by contributing performance data through written reports and presentations.
♦ Develops a knowledgeable sales force in service lines by conducting and overseeing technical and business related in-house training.
♦ Analyzes sales incentive programs and provides direction for modification, as needed.
♦ Assists in marketing services by arranging for and participating in key exhibits, specialty shows and field sales calls.
♦ Facilitates coordination of sales activity by acting as liaison to other departments and functions.

♦ Oversees a team of Comfort Advisors and  contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

♦ Assists in generating and closing leads

♦ Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

♦ Maintains national sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

♦ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5-7 years of sales experience required. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related discipline is desired. Strong written and verbal communications/selling skills are required. Must be competent in the use of standard office software applications.
