POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for one dynamic person to join our team! As an applicant, you must be energetic, outgoing, friendly and have a helpful personality. This position requires administrative work but also requires speaking with the public to coordinate sales leads and follow-up on sales opportunities.


Represents the company as an internal selling agent of products and services by providing first contact with potential customers and coordinating the sales process through payment.
  

Hourly plus opportunities for monthly spiffs and sales commissions!


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

This position includes but is not limited to:

Dispatcher

The strong multi-tasker we select will answer customer calls within a busy office setting and schedule technician appointments for jobs. In addition to entering customer data into a computer, this professional will provide feedback to customers regarding service queries, and make outbound calls to customers to schedule appointments for maintenance agreements. This candidate will also assist with booking incoming sales leads and follow up on open sales opportunities.

Required Credentials:

  • One or more years of experience as a dispatcher.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong degree of self-motivation to provide exceptional customer service to customers by phone while directing technicians by radio and tracking devices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple appointments.
  • Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience gathering customer information and keying it into a computer.
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of the local geographic territory.
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Order service repair parts
  • Assist in communicating service repair pricing to customers
  • File and return warranty service parts
  • File and track city permits for installation jobs
  • General office duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Sales Background a plus
A High School diploma, or GED equivalent, and 1-3 years of general office or sales experience within the technical service industry required. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Good communications skills are required. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
