Job Description

Company: ARS/Rescue Rooter

Performs a wide range of administrative and general support duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature requiring broad knowledge of organizational policies and practices.

    ♦ Provides administrative support to include preparing and screening correspondence, arranging travel schedules, arranging meeting times and locations, scheduling conference calls and composing reports.
    ♦ Answers and screens incoming telephone calls and communicates with customers, vendors and internal personnel via telephone, email and written correspondence to answer inquiries and provide information.
    ♦ Conducts subject research and assembles materials from files and records as necessary to complete special projects and/or report assignments. Creates and edits presentations and agendas.
    ♦ Acts as administrative liaison between the Manager’s office and various executives to the employees of the Company, customers and all interested outside parties.
    ♦ Acts in a lead and advisory capacity for administrative services. Follows proper procedures, processes and protocol. Interprets established policies and procedures.
    ♦ Prepares expense reports for the Manager.
    ♦ Maintains the Manager’s calendar and serves as receptionist for the department.
    ♦ May sign documents by electronic means on behalf of supervisor.
    ♦ Participates in meetings and conference calls, as required, and maintains documentation of meeting or call content.
    ♦ Performs record management by creating folders, filing information and updating records as needed. 
  • Must be an expert level in Excel. 

Job Requirements


HS diploma, or GED equivalent, is required. An Associate’s degree in business administration or other administrative training is desired. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. This job requires the ability to use a calculator, create and interpret spreadsheets and operate general office machines.
