Job Description

Company: ARS/Rescue Rooter

$15 - $17 an hour plus monthly incentive 

Job Description Summary:  Provides good customer relations in support of service operations by making outbound calls to customers, making recommendations to renew current and/or expired maintenance agreements and scheduling service appointments.

 

 

Duties may include, but not limited to the following:

  • Makes outbound telephone calls to current, previous, and prospective customers to solicit maintenance contract renewal payments and enters data in the computer.
  • Makes recommendations for maintenance contracts and warranties as appropriate.
  • Accepts and processes debit or credit payments and enters information into system.
  • Accepts and processes service orders and schedules appointments for service.
  • May make outbound calls to schedule maintenance appointments.
  • Follows up on service orders for maintenance agreements and recommends new agreements as previous ones expire.
  • Responds to customer inquiries received regarding maintenance plans offered and costs of plans.
  • Responsible for maintaining existing maintenance contracts database
  • Performs record management by creating folders, filing and updating information as needed. 
  • Maintains daily reports to track call attempts and sales information.
  • Telephones customers to ensure satisfaction of the quality of services provided.  Enters all customer remarks and concerns into the computer.
  • May send out maintenance contracts or other customer service correspondence.
  • Observes Federal, State, Local and company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
  • Assists other departments as needed and performs other duties as required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform work to include, but not limited to the following with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Must be physically able to operate computers, calculators, copy machines, facsimile machines and other general office equipment.
  • Extensive use of computer monitor, keyboard and calculator is required.
  • Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision for extensive reading and interpretation of charts and spreadsheets.
  • Must be able to use body members to sit, move and lift or carry objects and materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequent sitting, occasional standing, walking and bending required
