The IT Support Tech I responds to inquiries and requests for assistance with ARS phone systems and cellular mobile devices. They also Identify problems, troubleshoot and provide advice to resolve user problems, and help research billing questions from our field offices for all telecom related expenses.  They coordinate with other IT areas to resolve problems when necessary.  Occasional light travel may be required.  Must have the technology acumen to be able to learn various technical support skills for products such as “MDM”, “Remote Cellular Software”, “VOIP” phone systems, and have a working knowledge of call center metrics.


  • Provides clerical and technical support to corporate and field users for telecom related inquiries.
  • Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, email, voicemail, and in-person requests for assistance for telecom related events.
  • Supports the following:
    • Circuit orders
    • Cellular device orders
    • Review monthly bills for accuracy
    • Performs telecom related clerical tasks
    • Supports the field with help desk support tickets
    • Performs training on mobile applications
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


A college degree is preferred, but not required.

One year of office experience is required that includes receiving and processing of customer orders as well as managing the monthly paperwork required to support the continuance of operations.

A working knowledge of Microsoft office is preferred, but not required.
