Schedules and supervises employees to effectively provide installation of plumbing and HVAC systems and other construction services in new construction settings. Utilizes human resources effectively to manage workload and job costs, achieve production and margin objectives and complete the job on schedule.

♦ Supervises and delegates service employees, which includes assisting in hiring and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling and training employees, completing time sheets, evaluating performance and supervising work assignments to ensure effective operations.
♦Interfaces with builders, contractors, architects, building inspectors and project managers to identify service needs and maintain good customer relations.
♦ Evaluates work load and schedules work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits.
♦ Ensures that jobs are permitted, as appropriate.
♦ Generates reports and measures of departmental operations as well as records on all inventory, tools and vehicles. Review reports with management.
♦ Checks completed installations for quality and adherence to building code. Coordinates inspections.
♦ Develops new business by maintaining relationships with contractors and builders. 
♦ Reviews payroll records to ensure that technicians are paid properly.
♦ Other tasks deemed necessary by the management 


Job Requirements

What You Need to Succeed and Grow with the Pros

Required Credentials:

  • 4-6 years of experience in new construction.
  • Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Knowledge of local and national construction codes is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Strong supervisory and mathematical skills.
  • Good communications/human relations skills are also required.
