  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
    ♦ A minimum of three years’ experience in HVAC Installs to qualify as a LEAD MECHANIC. (Lesser experience could still qualify as LEAD MECHANIC, HELPER, OR SERVICE TECHNICIAN)
    • Working knowledge of national codes and best practices.
    • A working knowledge of electrical and gas diagnostics and air flow are preferred.
    • Requisite basic certifications (EPA Universal)
    • A valid drivers’ license and good communications skills.
  • Qualified candidates will have:

    -A minimum of two years’ experience in residential HVAC since graduation of a tech or vocational school.
    -A high school diploma or GED.
    -EPA Certificate.
    -Valid driver’s license.
    -Requires the ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
    -Must be able to use body members to work, move, and lift or carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds to include ductwork, furnaces or materials.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred as well as a minimum of two (2) years of electrical/HVAC trades service training or completion of an approved training program. A minimum of 2-4 years of HVAC or new construction experience is also required. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. EPA certification and advanced knowledge of basic carpentry, gas piping, electricity and air flow is required. A valid driver’s license is required. Must possess a working knowledge of local codes and general industry standards.
