POSITION SUMMARY:

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for providing systems support and analysis while leveraging technology solutions to meet the needs of the HR Department and users of HR Information Systems. This position serves as a technical point of contact and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understands, designs, and uses payroll and benefit controls. Identifies and resolves complex payroll and benefit data issues.
  • Assists in the development, testing configuration, and implementation of new projects, enhancements, and interfaces.
  • Partners with department manager(s) and system administrator for testing and documenting UltiPro and other HR/Payroll systems.
  • Prepares, runs and distributes weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to Division Human Resource Managers and governmental agencies, including but not limited to audit reports, new hire reporting, BLS reporting, and multi-worksite reporting. 
  • Researches, calculates and processes all payroll and benefit adjustments as needed.
  • Prepares calculations for earnings that require retro overtime calculations.
  • Acts as liaison with the Payroll, Tax and Benefit team members on system configuration matters, and partnering closely with our branches on employee data management.
  • Acts as security administrator by assigning access and approval levels. Maintains the rules established by management and ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and internal audit procedures. 
  • Audits employee data, including both payroll and benefits entries, to ensure overall integrity of data within all systems. Reviews data, identifies inconsistencies, and acts as a liaison between branches to troubleshoot issues
  • Researches and resolves time clock issues including clock maintenance and installation issues.
  • Partners with IT and UltiPro to resolve issues with mobile timekeeping and associated apps.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of experience with HR and/or benefits administration. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required specifically Excel or Access. This job requires the ability to create and interpret spreadsheets.
