HVAC Warehouse/Maintenance Position

Office Location: Saint Petersburg, FL 

Pay: $11:50-12:00 an hour (per experience) 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

  • Parts Runner (Must be OK with driving/running parts to various locations)
  • Scrap Worker (Must be OK with working outdoors) 

Coordinates shipping, receiving and stocking of materials and stages materials and equipment for technicians. Supports good customer relations and assists installation/service crews by organizing and pulling materials. Breaking down used HVAC systems to separate the metals from scrap purposes. Yard person will also be working outside in a covered area. 
♦ Ensures that appropriate materials are pulled and organized for scheduled jobs.

♦ Prepares equipment and materials for transport to job sites and staging for technicians.

♦ Stocks service vehicles, as instructed, to ensure that required parts remain on-hand.

♦ Coordinates and/or performs delivery of materials to the job site which may involve picking up parts for delivery.

♦ Inspects and signs out parts and equipment to technicians, ensuring that technicians maintain appropriate equipment to properly perform required tasks.

♦ Ensures that appropriate materials are pulled and organized for scheduled jobs.

♦ Receives incoming shipments, checking the purchase order against invoice with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before distribution or placement in appropriate warehouse location.

♦ Prepares and coordinates shipments and returns warranty items to different vendors, as needed.

♦ Takes acceptance of returns and handles according to type of return.

♦ Signs out parts and equipment, as appropriate.

♦ Maintains equipment catalogs, price files and specification books.

♦ Operates a forklift to move materials and unload trucks.

♦ Checks to ensure that each job order is complete.

♦ Assists in loading jobs on trucks and coordinates any shipping.

♦ Orders supplies, parts and materials for the warehouse and takes receipt of stock. Maintains appropriate inventory control documentation.

♦ Performs regularly scheduled inventory of warehouse items.

♦ Completes all required documentation and purchase orders on jobs and services and maintains inventory lists.

♦ Arranges for the storage of tools and equipment when not in use. Ensures that proper maintenance is performed. May coordinate repair and purchase of technician tools.

♦ Organizes and arranges warehouse to respond to changing warehouse needs.

♦ May coordinate service and repair of service trucks to ensure appropriate maintenance.

♦ May assist in the removal and disposal of old equipment at job sites and retrieve recyclables.

♦ May identify, recover and reclaim refrigerant.

♦ May enter purchase orders, requisitions and inventories into computer system.

♦ May perform some sheet metal fabrication or duct cutting services.

♦ May perform general building maintenance duties to ensure upkeep of the facility.

Job Requirements


Parts Runner

          - warehouse experience

          - A valid state driver’s license is required. 

          - ability to drive frequently throughout the day running parts

Prior experience in a HVAC warehouse setting highly preferred


In addition, all employees are requires to complete an extensive background check, drug screen and motor vehicle report.
