RS Andrews of Tidewater is looking for a Staff Accountant/Billing Specialist to join our team full-time. We are a well-established, HVAC company with the best employees! We are in search of a reliable Billing Specialist to perform tasks and aid in monitoring Revenue.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Billing for work performed - including 3rd party billing
  • Review & resolve client billing problems
  • Enter charges accurately and expeditiously to ensure proper records
  • Receive payments through various methods (cash, online, credit card processing, etc)
  • Review A/R balances to collect outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
  • Reconciliations on cash, deposits, Customer Accounts and other G/L duties.
  • Daily contact with both external and internal customers.

 Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel and easily adapt to Accounting software.
  • Professional, calm and patient attitude with Customers and Co-workers.
  • Highly detailed, organized and the ability to multi-task.
  • Work independently and self-motivated to meet strict deadlines.
  • Adept technical skills and the ability to learn quickly, ask questions and take responsibility.
Job Requirements

Expectations:

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience - preferably including 3rd party billing
  • Full time 40 hrs per week.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable / Accounting
  • On time, hard-working, organized and deadline driven professional with a positive outlook.
  • Forward thinking and adaptable to high-growth environment.
