ARS/Rescue Rooter of Charleston (Construction)

ARS is looking for an Entry Level HVAC Startup/Warranty Technician to join our team full-time. This role will help in the start-up of new equipment, repair of malfunctioning equipment under warranty and provision of first year warranty service in support of the new construction operation.


  • Performs start-up of residential HVAC systems in new construction to ensure proper operation in heat and cool cycles. May install thermostats and wire to unit.
  • Performs first year warranty preventive maintenance service calls on HVAC equipment to prevent equipment failure by cleaning air handling systems and reheat coils, monitoring and calibrating air handling systems and replacing filters, motors, fans, belts, etc. on systems.
  • Installs, repairs, replaces or cleans refrigerant lines, fans, appliance vents, smoke detectors, drain pans and grills, as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

  • EPA certification is required
  • A valid driver's license and good communications skills are required
